This heavy hitter from Ethiopia is superb. With notes of honey, jasmine, cocao, and peach, Yukro is a coffee we've tried getting our hands on in years past. We're happy to have it this year for a short time.
Typically regions like Yirgacheffe and Sidamo are renowned for their complexity and high flavour scores. In the case of the Agaro region, which is located in Jimma, further west, the Yukro washing station has spent 8 years investing properly into organization and processing infrastructure. It is now producing some of the finest and most sought-after coffees in the country.
