Martin Ramos' farm is located in the mountains surrounding the town of Tarqui, in the Huila department of Colombia.
We discovered Martin's coffee at a showcase of producers who have been undergoing a transition to more ecologically sound methods of farming. This includes using only organic methods, but more importantly, it involves becoming stewards of their land, understanding that the health of the soil is of the utmost importance in the long-term production of specialty coffee.
Martin Ramos' dedication to this is apparent as his coffee is stunning. This coffee is from his October harvest.
