Florian Padilla is a young producer and a member of the Padilla family, who all contribute to their own sections of the family farm in El Progreso, La Coipa, Cajamarca, Peru.
He and his wife, Merli, have produced coffee on their 8 hectare farm, since 2008. Their farm, jokingly called El Pepino, because of Peruvian bureaucracy, has 3 hectares of planted coffee, 80% of which is Caturra, the rest, Pache.
Florian’s coffee is sugary sweet, with notes of nectarine, chocolate, and hazelnut.
