A great decaf coffee shouldn’t taste like decaf. It should still be sweet, with a body that has balanced acidity. It should also be fresh.

We’re very excited to be able to offer a fresh crop decaffinated coffee from Colombia, from the region surrounding Pitalito, Huila, in Colombia.

This coffee was naturally decaffinated by extracting the caffeine with ethyl acetate, which is a natural by-product of sugar cane fermentation. We’ve noticed that this process, which is done in Colombia, allows the coffee to retain even more origin character than other decaf methods!
